1. Preamble
Stack Nutraceuticals Private Limited is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory work environment for all employees, including transgender persons.
This Policy is framed in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 and the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2020, to prohibit discrimination and ensure equal opportunity in employment.
2. Objective
The objectives of this Policy are:

To ensure equal opportunity in recruitment, promotion, training, and other employment-related matters.

3. Scope
This Policy applies to:

All employees (permanent, temporary, trainees, interns, consultants).

Job applicants.

Contract workers engaged by the Company.
4. Definition
For the purpose of this Policy, “transgender person” shall have the meaning assigned under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 and includes a person whose gender does not match with the gender assigned at birth, including trans-man, trans-woman (with or without sex reassignment surgery), person with intersex variations, genderqueer, and persons having socio-cultural identities.
5. Non-Discrimination
The Company strictly prohibits discrimination against transgender persons in:

Access to workplace facilities
No employee shall be unfairly treated or harassed on the ground of gender identity or gender expression.

7. Workplace Facilities
The Company shall take reasonable steps to ensure:

Availability of unisex or separate washroom facilities, wherever feasible.

Safe access to workplace infrastructure.

Protection from harassment, abuse, or violence.

Respect for self-identified name and gender in official records, subject to applicable documentation.
8. Confidentiality
All information relating to a person’s gender identity, medical history, or transition process shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed without the individual’s consent, except where required by law.
9. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In accordance with the Act:

The Company shall designate a Grievance Officer to deal with complaints relating to discrimination against transgender persons.

Complaints may be submitted in writing or via email.

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge the complaint within 2 working days.

The complaint shall be investigated and resolved within 15 days from receipt.
-
Appropriate corrective action shall be taken where discrimination is established.

10. Sensitisation and Awareness
The Company shall:

Conduct periodic sensitisation and awareness programmes.

Promote inclusivity and respect for diversity.

Educate employees about the rights of transgender persons.
11. Prohibition of Harassment
Any act of harassment, victimisation, bullying, or hostile behaviour against a transgender person shall be treated as misconduct and may lead to disciplinary action in accordance with Company policy.
12. Review of Policy
This Policy shall be reviewed periodically and may be amended to ensure compliance with applicable laws and evolving best practices.
