When you buy a supplement, the brand name is only one part of the decision. The ingredient may have been sourced from a specialist supplier, a commodity manufacturer, or an unknown broker. 4. Check storage and use instructions
Storage instructions are part of quality. A probiotic is useful only if the product retains the stated organisms through its shelf life, so storage guidance should be specific. 5. Treat big claims as prompts for questions

A brand does not need to publish confidential manufacturing documents to be transparent. It does need to explain the ingredient identity, the dose, the supplier relationship, and the controls that keep the product consistent.
